Sara Spinner-Block, MD

Pediatrician in Foundry Row, MD

Dr. Spinner-Block was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. In an act of rebellion, she chose to attend the University of Michigan instead of Ohio State (Go Blue!) where she met her future husband.

They have two sons who also proudly became Michigan Wolverines. She attended Case Western Reserve University Medical School and did her pediatrics residency at the affiliated Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.

In her free time she enjoys a regular yoga practice, taking barre dance classes, cooking, gardening, reading and spending time with family.

Dr. Spinner-Block has a special interest in parent coaching for difficult behavioral challenges such as bedtime struggles, mealtime issues and temper tantrums. Trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Dr. Spinner-Block enjoys helping families support their child’s emotional regulation to support the whole family’s well-being. Dr. Spinner-Block sees patients in the Foundry Row office.
