At Main Street Pediatrics, we understand that when your child is sick, you want prompt and comprehensive care. That’s why we prioritize same-day sick appointments, both in-office and through telehealth. Our dedicated team is committed to providing timely care to address your child’s illness and concerns.

In addition to our same-day appointments, we also offer scheduled appointments for sick visits on Saturdays and most Sunday mornings. We have an on-call physician available to ensure your child receives the care they need even during the weekend. Your child’s health is our priority, and we strive to provide convenient access to medical attention when they need it the most.

During illness appointments we perform a problem-focused physical exam and offer a variety of in-office testing, including:

• Rapid COVID PCR

• Rapid Influenza PCR

• Rapid Strep PCR

• Rapid RSV PCR

• Point of care testing for urinary tract infections

Additionally, we offer in-building lab services for Labcorp and have convenient access to radiologic services through Advanced Radiology.

If emergency room services or hospitalization becomes necessary, we coordinate care with the pediatric emergency rooms at Sinai, GBMC and Johns Hopkins.

If you are not sure that your child needs an appointment, please call our office and we can triage your child’s symptoms and figure out the appropriate course of action.

If our office is closed and you feel your child needs immediate medical care before our office is open, please call our on-call number which is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
