Dr. Berni Schor was born and raised in south Florida before attending college at the University of Florida in Gainesville. After graduating with dual degrees in Biology and Psychology, she moved to Manchester, New Hampshire to serve as an AmeriCorps member with City Year. As part of her year of service, she tutored and mentored elementary school students both inside and outside the classroom, focusing on both academic and social support for those children that were considered to be “at risk” of later dropping out of high school.

She attended Florida State University College of Medicine for medical school, and moved to New York City for her internship and residency in pediatrics at Columbia University. She now lives in Baltimore with her partner. Her interests include mental health and adolescent medicine, but mostly enjoys making long-term connections with her patients and their families. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, reading, trying new group fitness classes, and traveling. She is excited to plant her roots here in Maryland and to be a new member of the Main Street Pediatrics team.
