Teresa Fuller, MD, PHD

Dr. Teresa Fuller was born and raised in Baltimore. She attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and received both her M.D. and Ph.D. at Howard University. She completed residency training at University of Maryland. After practicing emergency and hospital-based pediatrics for ten years, Dr. Fuller shifted her focus to preventive care, using a holistic approach that focuses on healthy diet and environment to maintain optimal health. Dr. Fuller believes, as Peter McWilliams put it: “Health is more than just the lack of illness – health is aliveness, energy and joy.” She and her husband, Rev Julian Fuller, have two adult sons that are constantly making them proud. In her free time, Dr. Fuller enjoys writing, reading, serving her church family, and learning new things.
