We’re pleased to let you know that Main Street Pediatrics now has the updated COVID-19 vaccines in stock for ALL ages!

💉 Available vaccines:

• Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for children 6 months to 4 years old
• Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for patients 5 years and older

We recommend a COVID-19 vaccine for all kids 6 months to 23 months and any child 24 months and over with an underlying medical condition putting them at risk for complications from COVID-19 (asthma, diabetes, etc). We will administer the COVID-19 vaccine to any child over 6 months whose parents would like for them to receive it.

If your child has never received a COVID vaccine before or is due for an updated dose, we encourage you to schedule an appointment soon to ensure protection ahead of the fall and winter season.

For children aged 6 months to 23 months receiving the Moderna vaccine:

• If your child has never been vaccinated against COVID-19:
  They will need two doses, given 4–8 weeks apart.
• If your child has previously received any COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer):
  They will need at least one dose of the updated Moderna vaccine at least 8 weeks after their last COVID vaccine. If they only received one dose of the Pfizer vaccine prior, they will need two doses, given 4–8 weeks apart.

Anyone 2 years and older receiving a COVID-19 vaccination will only need one shot, regardless of whether it is Moderna or Pfizer, and regardless of prior COVID-19 vaccination history.
